Terms
Terms of service
The rules for booking with us and using the facility.
Last updated 28 July 2026
These terms are a draft prepared for review. They have not yet been checked by a lawyer, and a few details are still being confirmed.
These terms
This website is operated by Scratch Indoor Golf & Academy. Using it means accepting the terms below.
Bookings, memberships and purchases are each governed by the terms of the system that handles them, plus the facility rules below.
Booking and payment
Bay rentals are charged per bay, not per player, at the rates shown on the Play page. Up to five players may share a bay.
Rates and availability can change. The price confirmed at the time of booking is the price that applies.
Payment is taken through our booking system at the time of booking unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless stated.
Memberships
Memberships run month to month and renew automatically until cancelled.
Included daily session time is per day and does not accumulate or roll over.
Member rates and priority booking apply to the member only, though members may bring guests into their bay under the group rates.
[VERIFY] notice period required to cancel a membership, and whether part-months are refunded.
Using the facility
Golf is a swinging sport played with clubs, indoors, near other people. Behave accordingly: stay out of neighbouring bays, keep children supervised, and stop if asked.
We are licensed liquor-primary. Minors may be in the facility until 10pm and must be supervised by an adult throughout; from 10pm the premises are adults only, and we may ask for identification.
Clean, non-marking footwear is required in the bays. Golf shoes with soft spikes are fine; metal spikes are not.
We can refuse service or ask anyone to leave for unsafe behaviour, intoxication, or abuse of staff or other guests.
You are responsible for damage you cause to equipment, screens or the premises beyond ordinary wear.
Alcohol is served under our licence and subject to BC liquor law. We will refuse service where required to.
Your own equipment
We encourage you to bring your own clubs — simulation is only as real as the equipment you swing. Rental sets are available at $10 per hour, and one set may be shared within a bay.
We take care of items left with us for regripping or repair, but personal belongings elsewhere on the premises remain your responsibility.
Lessons and fittings
Coaching and fitting are booked as appointments with a specific professional. If they become unavailable we will offer an alternative time or another coach.
A fitting produces a written specification. Ordering clubs through us is optional, and the specification is yours either way.
We give our honest professional assessment. We cannot guarantee a particular improvement in your scores — no one can.
Website content
The Scratch name, logo, text and imagery on this site belong to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
Some imagery on this site is design visualisation rather than photography of the finished space. We replace it with real photography as it becomes available.
We try to keep prices, hours and details accurate, but this site is marketing material, not a binding offer.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Beyond that, our liability in connection with this website is limited to the amount you paid for the booking or service the claim relates to.
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia.
