Our story
The off-season problem
Scratch began with a simple frustration. Six months of the year, golf here is a memory. So we built a room where it isn’t.
Exposed black ceilings, walnut surrounds, a green subway-tile bar and black quartz — the room being built around the bays right now. Somewhere worth an evening even if you never pick up a club — and where, if you do, a PGA of Canada coach is a few steps away.

Questions
Before you come in
Should I bring my own clubs?
Yes — the simulators read your actual clubs, so your carry distances and gapping match what you'd see on the course. If you don't have a set, rentals are $10 an hour, right or left handed, and one set can be shared by everyone in the bay.
Is the rate per person or per bay?
Per bay. One player or five costs the same, which is why groups are the better value — $36 an hour split five ways is $7.20 each.
How far ahead can I book?
The public books up to a week out. Every membership tier opens a full week earlier, which matters most for evenings and weekends.
Are beginners welcome?
Yes, and a simulator is a forgiving place to start — nobody is waiting behind you. Scratch Academy coaches teach complete beginners regularly, and the four-week beginner programme is built for exactly this.
Can I bring children?
Yes, until 10pm. Minors are welcome anywhere in the facility with adult supervision up to 10pm, after which the room is adults only — we are licensed liquor-primary. The Academy runs dedicated junior coaching, and junior lesson times sit well inside that window.
What if I need to cancel?
More than 24 hours before your bay time, cancel or reschedule for free. Inside 24 hours it's 50% of the booking, and a no-show is charged in full. Lessons and fittings need 24 hours' notice or they're charged in full, because that's a coach's held time.
